Strange Colt Brewery is a Euro-style pub, serving craft beer, brewed on site, and a dynamic food menu with craft beer inspired fare. At “The Colt”, Brewmasters Tom Streeter and Scott Hestilow and Assistant Brewer Colby Avery are dedicated to creating an assortment of unique craft beers in small batches. Only fine craft beers from other independent breweries are given the privilege to complement our taps. We believe in creating quality food and beer. We also believe our beer tastes better when brewed to a good music mix of Rock and Roll, 80’s, and 90’s hits, so stop by, sit back, and enjoy this brief vacation from your everyday life. And be sure to take a growler home to share with friends and family.
Why Strange Colt? We were searching for a name that embodied the character of our beers and the culture of beer enthusiasts. Born from British roots, we were enamored by the classic neighborhood pubs of Europe. The Strange Colt is a humble horse. He left the herd years ago, walked a few dirt roads, got a few scars . . . but only one tattoo. Today he leads a cult of beer enthusiasts into a new frontier of gastronomic wonder.

I was instantly in love with the atmosphere here. I kept saying that I wish we had a cute little place like this in Tallahassee. While we did not eat, we did order a flight. The fourth beer was decidedly NOT the brown we asked for but the other three were very solid. The price is right too; would recommend!

Went here for dinner. It was a nice place - I had the Cuban sandwich which was good. I also had the brownie with Carmel...it was a little dry, but I had the option to add ice cream and did not. With ice cream it probably would have been perfect. They had a decent selection of beer and the wait staff was friendly and attentive.

Bike Night here was a success. HOG chapter approved, will be looking forward to growing this event. The place is well suited for an event like this. The crew seems more than capable and willing to accommodate. Great food, awesome beer, Amazing crew.
