New this year!!! WINE MAKING AT BIG BREW DAY! We will also be giving out wine samples. Nevin our wine maker at this event, has over 35+ years experience and comes from a family of winemakers. If you have any interest in winemaking or want to improve your craft of making wine, he is your best source. We start brewing and winemaking at 10:00 AM and event ends at 6:00 pm.
Any EBHB Member or new member who is or wants to be a regular EBHB Wino can join and help us at any point of the wine making to bottling process and share the wine we make this Saturday. You the vintner will be helping out at Big Brew Days. We will make two wine kits a Premium Red and a Premium White purchased from Gary’s Biergarten Supply.

Sign up and attend the process racking the wine, cleaning and sanitizing bottles, bottling the wine, labeling the wine bottles. Attend any part of the process and come together with us and share this fun event and premium wine. Please share this event.

This past Friday John & I served beer to golfers at the Milton Garden Club Tournament. It was a nice event except for the wind blowing the tent top. We will do it again next year if invited.
Saturday bernie, grant, paul ryan & I provided and served beer and OAB at the YEOBB beerfest. Attendance was less than normal, probably due to the weather. Not a drop of rain at the event.
This Sat we will participate in the Iron Hand Homebrew Beer Fest in Mobile. Check out their website for details. If you are interested in participating with the club, let me know by Friday noon.
If you are interested in the NOLA trip in June you need to get your check to Steve very soon . We have to have 35 paid to make the trip.

St Pats Party went well yesterday. Thanks to Rob & Karen for hosting the event. Good turn out and just about all the food was gone. Congrats to Grant for Irish Red winner.

Let me know First come gets the gig club will pay entry fee for all MIG who wish to attend For those events that charge admission, club will buy tickets over our freebies only for members who provide at least 1 keg of beer or at least 1 gallon of OAB. Meeting at GL went well yesterday. We had a good turnout including aome new folks. Thanks to Larry and staff for hosting the get together. brewing Dopple Bok this Thursday starting about 8:30. Thanks To Karen & Steve & Pepper for hosting the Winos meeting last evening. Those in attendance enjoyed some great great food(as we always do at their home) and a large variety of Adult bevs: mead, wine, cider & even beer. Next winos will be at my house on March 4th. I think there is still one or two tenderloins left in the freezer.
Trish, Joanne & Ash have volunteered to help with the Beach Run next Sat. Anybody else is welcome. Event is from 9-12 and we will set up under the fishing pear.

Nice get-together last evening for the Winos. A few more than expected made it to the mtg. We had plenty to eat without ordering pizza. The next winos mtg will be June 4 at Nanci & Jim's house. We still need a place for Aug & Nov. Any Volunteers??
The crawfish boil is this Sat at Gulf Coast Brewery. The first batch should be ready around 1 pm. We will buy crawfish based on the # of RSVPs. At this time we have about 35 plus cooks & GCB staff. I have to have your RSVP by Wednesday to count you in the amount to buy. Rick A & I will each have a keg of Ordinary Bitter for SOM and I will probably bring the rest of the Black IPA. Mike is bring a keg from Beardless Brewery. Is anybody else bringing a keg? The bar will be open for purchasing beers from GCB.
We are already signing folks up for Beer Fest in Sept. If you have a preference for what you want to do let me or Bernie know now while it is still available. Remember, dues free membership is dependent upon selling at least 5 tickets AND working the BF. Tickets will be available June 15.
If anyone else wants crawfish Sat, please RSVP now. we have to order early to get the right amount
June 18 is The Fish House Beer Fest. The club plans to serve AB. Right now we have the allotted number of passes based on what we will serve. We will buy a ticket for anyone else who provides Beer or other AB for the event. Nearly full beer kegs or at least 2 Gallons of OAB. Let me know if you want to play.

Big Brew Day went well yesterday. Club members did an Imperial Porter. It will be available for sampling in June. If its good one keg will be in the VIP room at Beer Fest. Rick did a New Zealand Pilsner. Thanks to Jim Mc, Rick, Nanci, Ron and Bernie for bringing kegs to share. The Saison, English Porter, Pensacola punch and Most of the OAB also went empty. Thanks to Gary, Tess & crew for hosting the event.
Our next mtg will be the Winos this coming Sat. If no one volunteers to host today we will do it at my house again. RSVP if you plan to attend.
At this time we have 24 RSVPs for the Crawfish boil at GCB on the 21st. If anyone else plans to attend, please let me know by May 17th so we can buy the right amount of food.

Big Brew Day is tomorrow at Garys. We will start club as close to 11 as possible. Those who wish to help can get there early or help load up when done. James Mc will have an American light. We will also have Ordinary Bitter, Saison, Black IPA and Bernies English Porter. OAB will include Blaclberry Mead, Peach Cider, Champipple, Barley Wine and Ron's Punch.
Food & Beer available for purchase in the bar. Dont know about food truck. Bring a chair and a tasting glass if you want.
