McGuire’s Irish Pub first opened in 1977 as a small neighborhood pub in a shopping center. In 1982 McGuire’s moved to its current location; Pensacola’s original 1927 Old Firehouse. Inside the pub you’ll find a turn-of-the-century, New York Irish Saloon themed 615-seat restaurant.

We are celebrated for our atmosphere boasting more than One Million signed dollar bills hanging from the ceilings and walls of the Pub. In 1996, a second location, McGuire’s Irish Pub of Destin opened on beautiful Destin Harbor with the same great food and live Irish entertainment.

World Class Irish destination. Worth easily a couple hours drive for a meal. Stay closer and enjoy Their beers and Full Bar. Bartenders are not run of the mill They make the Drinks correctly and oh so good. All the food is very good. The last meal I had was the Strip and it was a excellent cut-cooked perfect, strong meal suggestion. Don't forget the $0.18 bean soup for sure ! Enjoy ! Plan on spending twice the time You do at other places. It's a real treat !

Despite being a huge tourist spot, this is still one of the best restaurants in Pensacola. It's crazy popular for a reason! Huge portions, delicious food, good drinks, and cozy atmosphere all combine to make a legendary eatery. Open late. My advice is that if you don't want to wait do not go during peak hours, especially on weekends during the summer. If you struggle to find a parking spot you will be waiting an hour.

I came here visiting, and it was really good! This place is popular and we waited 1/2 an hour for our table. There’s a nice little gift shift inside to explore. The young waitress was very professional and kind. I ordered the Reuben spring roll and their $0.19 or 0.18 cents senate soup and it was amazing!!!!!!!!!! Fresh, hot for the soup. And Crunchy with great juices for the spring roll. I 100% recommend coming here.

Always excellent in every way. The staff are friendly, personable and courteous. Ambiance is unique and delightful. Food may seem a bit pricey to some, but I assure you, it's worth every penny. I've been coming here for years & I've never been disappointed. This establishment is worthy of a place on your bucket list.

Great dining experience! Whenever my wife and I are in Pensacola, we always stop in. The wait is usually 45-60 minutes, but the time passes quickly. Especially when you are partaking of the Irish Wake! Mine was delicious, but the bartender made my sister in laws quite strong, so she gave it to me... 2.5 Irish Wakes is a bit rough, but everyone loved me and I'm sticking to it! Food was top notch. I decided on the Reuben Burger which was full of flavor with a massive portion. My wife got the Molly cooked to perfection like she always does. Definitely coming back whenever my wife and I are in town!
